Tip Toe through the Yarn Pr0n

So, Wednesday I get a cryptic e-mail from Tvini saying:
"I just stopped by Charlotte Yarn. They'd gotten a new shipment in. Let me just say that I know what you're going to be spending all your store credit on for a while."
What was I to do but immediately call the shop and find out what she was talking about? It was Interlacements Tiny Toes. Sock Yarn. As close to Koigu and Cherry Tree Hill as I'm gonna get at the shop. It was as if the heavens parted and a chorus of angels started to sing. Of course, right after work I rushed over to the shop and picked up 2 colorways. This one is Color #203 "Submarine" Interlacements Tiny Toes #203 Lemme tell ya, this stuff is so nice and soft. It's like the perfect balance of CTH and Koigu. Sproingy like Koigu, Soft like CTH. This one is Color#206 "Las Vegas Brights" Interlacements Tiny Toes #206 It reminds me of Mork's suspenders on Mork & Mindy. Nanu Nanu. I couldn't resist some shots with the sea turtle sculpture on my desk. Interlacements Tiny Toes & Turtles Yummy! I can't wait to work with it. But, I still have Christmas knitting to do. I tried in vain to finish up the Swallowtail Lace shawl in time for Lacevember but I still have 15 rows and the bindoff to do. You'll see FO shots of it next week. *le sigh* Who was it that started the rumor that Lacevember lasted 2 months? I blame them for my failure. I thought I was good to go. Alas and alack.

I haven't used the Tiny Toes yet...but it's availible at my shops, and they come to all the local wool fests. Close as I've come is the roving I'm spinning.

My spinning mentor mentioned that she took a dyeing class from Judy Ditmore and she has a dyeing method completely different than everyone else....

Lovely pics as usual!

Great pr0n! I just joined the YPF ring and definitely need to work on getting good close-up shots like that. Love the turtles getting all up in the yarn, too.

I'm working with CTH right now. Neener-neener. :D Trade ya! I think I have some left, er, maybe.

Love the colorways, as always.

You're not the only one swamped with Xmas knitting. I also want to quit and knit things only for myself.

What beautiful colorways! I will have to look for the Las Vegas one, but in my mind it will be Mork from Ork!

Blessings!
