TGIF
This weekend's blogstalking assignment was to answer the question "How do you usher in the weekend?" Well, for me, Friday Nights are Pub Nights.
After work I head over to Selwyn Pub (if you read the Cathy Reichs books - you know "Bones" - this is the pub featured in those books). I'm part of the early crowd there. After 9 it gets way too crowded for me. I tend to get there just after 5pm.
After the pub, if I don't head over to the grocery store with the kick-ass bathroom to get dinner, I head home for a night in front of the TV watching Sally Field shill Boniva and my knitting. I'm so fun!
Of course, the cats are never very far away. Ripple is laid out on the sofa, peeking at me from behind the mound of pillows and Morris stares at me from across the room. I don't know what's creepier. The staring cat in plain view or looking over at the couch and seeing one peeking at you. It's a conspiracy. I never should have put that sweater on Ripple.

Wow, can't believe I'm first!
My dogs stare, drives me crazy. The black one could be dead asleep and if I look over at her, she'll wake up and look at me. Creepy.
Man, do you know how long it's been since I've been in a pub? I haven't been able to do alot of things since the chillin's came long. Oh well. Have one for me next Friday. :)
Not sure which would be creepier either! Probably the one staring at you..I hate that! What a great way to start the weekend, Pub nite!
Yup. They're definately conspiring against you.
What is that you're drinking with Sally there? Wanderlust....???
Love your pub mosaic.
Isn't it a sign where you leave by 9 PM when back in the day it was just when things were just getting warmed up!
It is a bit creepy when the cats stare like that. I call it the "I wonder what she'd taste like with a little BBQ sauce" stare.
Angel stares at me like she's going to eat me most days LOL
*hugs*
Well, you did start it with the dog sweater thing.
Our Fridays are very different! Yours looks calmer.
"Somethin' bad's gonna happen..."
Katie totally does the same thing as Morris. She hunkers down like a "meatloaf" (all 4 paws tucked under and tail wrapped around body), in the dark dining room and stares at me. How can I tell? The glowing cat eyes that flash at me when she moves her head. Now that's creepy.
I know she's just waiting for me to go to the kitchen, but still...
those cats are totally plotting revenge...
OMG, Run...now....they look like they're just sitting there...waiting...
ROFL that's hilarious. Them cats is waitin to get you! Or your knitting. Runnnn Cristi Runnnnnn(and don't forget your knitting!) hee
Have you even woken up to one staring you in the face?
