What a Weekend.

When the night ends like this: Me Sleeping You know it's been a good party. I went as a black and white movie. Of course, I don't have a good picture of me with the whole costume in tact, but Trillian42's husband probably does. He was the photographer of the night. Though this picture was kindly snapped by Roxy at the end of the night. Funny what you get when you leave your camera lying around. What got me so tired? Well, between the Yuengling and the Oatmeal Cookies I was mixing, it's a toss up. What's an Oatmeal Cookie, you ask? Goldschlager, Bailey's and Kahlua - equal parts. Something I've been drinking since college on occasion. You can do it as a shot or over ice or straight up in a martini glass. It's yummy. So, what did Roxy and Trillian42 go as? Well, Roxy just cracked me up by showing up as Troy Polamalu of the Pittsburgh Steelers. (That's a custom jersey she's got - not his number.) Of course, in this pic she is sans hilarious wig. Anne Marie Kareoke QueenAnd Trillian42? Well, as I affectionately called her all night long, she went as a Wench. Heh. Who loves ya babe? Here she is kicking everybody's ass at some Kareoke game on the Playstation. Of course, again, this is the end of the night so her costume is not in tact anymore either. That corset gown got pretty confining by then so why they heck not loosen the ties all the way, eh? I woulda. The next day, and may I just say - Thank GOD for that extra hour - we all met up with AliceC for brunch. The Gang We had a wonderful time chatting and exchanging gifties and catching up in person. It was a great time. And check out that kick ass coat that Roxy's wearing! Pink Leather! It matches my Razr phone. (Heh, did I rub that in enough for ya Roxy?) It was a fabulous weekend. I can't wait to plan another trip up there! I have more pictures to take yet of the weekend's aftermath. Trillian42 introduced me to the wonder that is IKEA. And lo, I shall never be the same again.

Hmmm, almost every night ends up like that for me, but there never seems to be any parties involved. Just way too much knitting...and maybe a beer or two.

Did you get some sweet yarn storage at IKEA? I don't think we'll ever get one here in NM, but a guy can hope.

Yuengling? You had Yuengling? *sigh* I am so jealous. I'm a Pittsburgh girl, that's my FAVORITE beer, and I can't get it out here in hell, uh ... I mean LA.

Sounds like you had a fantastic weekend. I just wish I had more time to spend with my craft-y friends! :)

*sigh* Oh to be back in the days when it was just me and hubby and we could come home sloshed and not have to worry about kids. Lol

Sounds like you had a blast. It must be awesome to have some Knittyheads to hang out with. I don't even think there is a knittyhead within 60 miles of me. Glad you had a great time!
