The Pi, She is Done!

Morris does not look amused by the fun fur trim. Morris and his Pi This was it pre-felting on Friday night. First thing Saturday morning, the felting party started! Only two trips through the washer to get this: Felting Results None of my felted projects have come out as well as this one did. Perhaps I simply need to put them through the wash again, but still, I am amazed. Kity-Pi in the Basket It fits perfectly in the basket! I really wanted it for a new liner to the basket that Morris likes to sleep in next to the bed. There was an old ratty towel in there before. He deserves better. Now, to just get him IN it. The Pi needs it's filling! Pattern: Kitty-Pi from Wendy Knits! Yarn: Noro Big Kureyon Color #18 nearly 2 full hanks. Eyelash yarn is Fringy by Darice. I got it for $1.50 at Garden Ridge before Christmas, before I had taste. Needles: Size 13

Looks great!!! I wanted to make one, but since Sapphire liked her basket like Morris does, I figured the towel would do...until I saw yours!! Now I gotta make this too!
Thanks! :)

Nice job. I put a little catnip in mine to get my kitty to sleep in hers.

If you put something with your scent on it in the pi, Morris might lie on it. Things that might work would be a pillowcase (pre-laundering) or a T shirt that you wear to bed for a few nights.

That is such a 'I'm going to be sick in your shoes tonight' look. It looks fantastic and I'm sure he'll love it once he gets used to it. It's a perfect fit for the basket.

Yeah, Morris puts off some serious cattitude. I've always said he reminds me of Walter Matthau form "Grumpy Old Men". Doesn't he though? I've always thought he looked like a George.

Morris just doesn't know a good thing when he sees it. The fun fur is such a good touch. Ah well, what do you do? Perhaps he needs a demonstration on how to use it? :)

your pi looks great! and the fun fur really works with this project (despite it being... well... fun fur) I love that it's the lining for a basket - I'm sure your cat will discover it eventually!
