I Drank the Kool-Aid
Well, the ladies at Mason-Dixon Knitting finally sucked me into their Dishcloth madness. Not that it takes much for me. I have, however, managed to avoid the ubiquitous Ball-Band Dishcloth successfully. But when Kay posted the pattern to this little beauty, I couldn't resist. I actually cast-on for it right away last night, finishing the garter stitch squares. This morning I finished the mitered square corners and wove in the ends. It's a purty dishcloth, isn't it?
Oh yes, I see more of these in my future. But damn if there aren't a crap-ton of ends to weave in after.

A crap ton, eh?
I love doing dishcloths, but I haen't done one of those yet. Yours is gorgeous! Great job!
That's really pretty, but I don't envy you with all those ends to sew in.
But isn't the KoolAid so tasty and refreshing? xox Kay
As long as it's grape with a hint of cyanide, it's perfectly refreshing. ;)
Trek - I'm not sure of the metric conversion of crap-ton, but rest assured, it's alot. Like, 18, in this case. Sheesh.
Hey that is a really cool dishcloth, I think I may have to make me one of those ;) Fun colors too!
18 ends in one discloth is too much for this wuss.
10 is bad enough for me on a fingerless mitt!
and cotton to boot. Me hates the cotton ends the most, they like to slither themselves back out!
(how was Deadwood?)
Absolutely gorgeous!!!
Might have to give this one a try! :) Looks like a great way to use up the ends of other balls of dishcloth yarn.
