What to do, what to do...

I'm going to knit Green Gable with one of these colors of Cotton Fleece. But here's my dilemma. It only takes 3 skeins. Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece (Pardon the blurriness, I was tired and couldn't hold the camera still) Fixed I have 6 lilac, 6 Cream, 5 Pink and 4 Blue. If I do the blue, I'll have 1 skein left, and what can I do with only one skein? If I do the pink, same deal, I'll have 2 skeins left, and it'd be hard to find a project for that. Now, if I do the lilac or the cream, I'll have 3 left, which is doable. But then I couldn't do a bigger project with them (like a cardigan or sweater or something bigger at any rate). So. What do I do?

Knit the sweater in your favorite, and use the leftovers as an excuse to buy more yarn :-)

You can use the leftover for a "It's only slightly chilly" hat or a pair of boxers.

?

There's those shorts in Loop d Loop by Teva Durham...

a shrug/wrap?

I like the way tocspaw thinks...

I say use the blue - that way you have a little left for emergencies or alterations, and you can find something simple to do with the last skein. Plus, it's the color I like the best. =)

I say use the leftovers to make me a sweater with stripes. XL please, big in the chest area for my extremely large hootahs. Thanks in advance.

Hehe! Erin is funny! What color would you wear the most...least... all the suggestions are great! We're leaving it up to you.... ;) Um..er..if you decide you don't want to do it in any of them..and like er want to get rid of it, I don't live far away ;)

Shaking hands is a definite sign of yarn overdose, the only cure is to hand over half of your stash to me.

Don't forget you can always use the rest in stripes in something or for smaller accessories. Go for which colour you like best or the one that matches your wardrobe the most.

I saw this and thought of you.... http://www.woolneedlework.com/Free%20PatternFun/Crochet_Lacy_Shawl.htm I don't know if you crochet or not, but this might work for your sister's shawl.

Heh, I like the way tocspaw thinks too. I think Trillian's right - go with the blue, and then the leftover can be stripes or whatever. Plus, I like it too ;)

No, I think you should give the blue to me so I can make a tank with it, and make it in the lilac. ;)
