It's a Tit Bit Nupply Around Here

Nupps! 3 down, 2 charts to go. There's something to be said for stating your goals. I was talking to one of the customers at the yarn shop Saturday (Hi Amy!) and we were talking about lace. I said the one thing I wanted to do sunday was to get through the next chart on my Swallowtail Lace Shawl. The Lily of the Valley Border 1. 12 rows. It took all afternoon (between watching the football game - Go Panthers! - cleaning the fish tank, then running to the store for new bulbs since I broke the others in the hood, etc.) but I got it done. It felt so good, I made dinner, fed the cats (putting Morris in the yarn room so Ripple wouldn't eat his food) then I cast on for Shedir (I'd link to it, but it's from the Breast Cancer Awareness Issue of knitty, and it's a pdf full of patterns, not just a simple link to Shedir.) Shedir Brim I got the first 10 rows completed. Then I completed the first BBF Feather and Fan Sock. BBF Feather and Fan Sock And worked on the second one. BBF F&F Sock #2 Toe As I was on my way to bed after a productive day of knitting, I remembered something. Morris 3 Whoops. I left him in the yarn room alone for about 3 1/2 or 4 hours. Poor boy went right for the litter box. Sorry, MoMo.

I've seen me some feather and fan socks, but yours are really gorgeous. They look so precise, somehow.

Those are stunning socks... the way the yarn responded to the pattern is brilliant! Looks like the kitty's no worse for the wear... :)

Everything looks great! What heel are you using for those socks? I've been trying out variations like it.

Have I seen that sock yarn before? It's green and gold right? Where on earth did you get it? I've been searching for someone that sells green and gold sock yarn!

Poor Morris. Just the look on his face--hee!

Those are some pretty pretty socks. I just can't fathom getting all that done and well, functioning also for the rest of the day. Go, productive knitters.

And, go in peace, kitties forgotten everywhere.

Congrats on being super productive! It feels good doesn't it?

Somehow it's easier to be super productive with knitting than with homework...I wonder why. ;)

Great socks! three cheers for you and a big 'pooooor baby' for Morris. Just send your old crap to my house--I've got a trophy for best halloween costume from 1968.

I am impressed with those socks. The yarn and pattern seem to be made for each other.

Kitties forgive, usually.

Good job!

Wow! Have you ever been productive. I think your shawl is looking so pretty in that yarn. It's the Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool right? I have some in my stash that might need to become a shawl, too.

Awww Mo, Mo! The shawl, yay is looking good! The sock is awesome, kudos for not giving up and "finding" just the right pattern for it! Way to have a productive day! :0

I can see it in his eyes. He's saying "You bastard. You could at least have left the yarn drawers open." :D Kitty love. There's nothin' like it.

My own furball is currently laying on her cat beds. Both of them at the same time. Earlier this month she wouldn't lie on either of them. I guess that's what snow does.

Oooh they're pretty. The yarn worked perfectly in them.
