Neener neener neener!

I met Yarner! And got to visit with Zonda again! Yarner, ZKnitter and Me! As you see, I didn't get the memo to wear orange, but I still fit in just fine with these two women! What a hoot! We met up in Greensboro, NC (about an hour and a half north of me) and spent a nice Sunday afternoon laughing our asses off for the most part. Yarner treated Zonda and I to a nice lunch, she showed us how to knit backwards (you don't believe it until you see it in action. wow.) then we settled in at Barnes & Nobel for the next few hours and munched on sugar cookies and got hopped up on Starbucks. (Mmm...Maple Mocchiato) I worked on my Citrus Sock (formerly a Diamante, now it's going to have a feather and fan cuff, and Diamante's heel), Zonda worked on her Anastasia Socks (and we have a short row heel folks! Give her a round of applause! It was her first!) And Deb, well. Deb worked on my Fuzzy Foot. Seems she forgot her knitting at her sister's house. Heh. But now I have a complete Fuzzy Foot! (Though she "Kitchner's for No Man." So I still have to do that bit.) What a wonderful day. And it's nice to know that she has family she visits fairly regularly so close by. So I'm near guaranteed to see her again in the future! And Zonda and I will most certainly meet more in the future as well. As soon as we figure out a good halfway meeting point for us. What a wonderful afternoon!

Oh, and in case I didn't say it!! Thanks for your extreme patience!! Driving home, I was like duh...I really get it...**off to start second sock before I forget how to do the heel again! ;)

It was fun!! Needed a tiny bit more coffee on the way home though! Hope to see you again soon!

Color me confused on a short row heel, I thought all heels were short rows.

Great picture of the three of you!

Someday---if The Mad Scientist is still unemployed come March I'll have to tag along with him to the Mad Scientist Jamboree in Charlotte and meet y'all!

Sounds like you had fun! When are you going to come a little further up the Eastern seaboard so *I* can meet you in person?

Glad to see Yarner is alive and well. She is traveling so much she can't post.

And now I get to Zonda too.

Looks like you had fun!

Now, I really didn't picture Yarner to look like that! I thought she had long black hair for starters!

You all look like a really happy, friendly bunch. I wish I lived over there instead of here sometimes!

It looks and sounds like you had a fantastic time. What's this I hear about you upsetting other customers? ;)

She knits backward, but she doesn't Kitchner? For some reason, I find that hilarious.

Sounds like a fun time!
