I do hope everyone had a safe and Happy New Year. I, for one, rang in the new year with some of my friends from my Stitch 'n Bitch (yeah, I said it - STITCH AND BITCH) but anyway. We played games! I haven't had a game night in forever! We played Trivial Pursuit (80s edition).
(I'm the laserdisc.) I did really well! And my friend, Ann, was worried that I wouldn't be able to keep up, being the youngest one at the table. Sheesh. I'm a child of the 80s. Do not doubt my knowledge of 80s figure skating or Fat Albert Cartoons!
We also played Outburst. (Circa 1988 as well, it was kinda funny how many cigarette related cards there were.)
And then my favorite game of all time (second only to Yahtzee) - Pass the Pigs!
We had a lot of fun. The next day, I relaxed a bit. First I stocked up on groceries (being away for 8 days, I had nothing.) Then I started my Firefly and Knitting marathon. Shiney! It's a good series and I'm really enjoying it. Can't wait to watch the rest.
I finished a sock and started it's mate, worked on the muppet raper for a while, and then finished fixing the bartender hat. Here it is modeled for you:

No, it's not a slouch hat, the guy wanted it to sit off his head a bit and requested I add a good 3 or 4 inches to it. So I did. It looks a bit funny but that's what he asked for. And I didn't have any of the black left so I frogged back to the decreases, did a little fibonacci fade into the red and called it a day.

Hmm, pass the pigs..never heard of that one! Sounded like your New Years Eve was good! I'm gonna have to cut in here and say that maybe you should rename your sweater. I'm getting more of a fraggle vibe from it for some reason. :D
Maybe he wants to grow some long dreads? Your night sounds wonderful, just wonderful. I'm very sorry you grew up in the 80s. I did both the late 70s and the early 80s, so I got all sorts of wonderful.

It's one of those dilemmas...Is it that hat that's cute or does is it the adorable model that makes everything he's wearing seem cute? I think it is probably both.
