Fridays - All Pr0n, All the Time

Yes, my friends. I am away and have prepared Yarn Pr0n friday for you ahead of time. Today, we bring my swag from the last weekend of my LYS, The Peace of Yarn, the day before they closed to move to their new location (sadly, further away from me - but not too bad.) I scored some yummy Cascade 220 for my own Lucy Bag, as well as some mystery yarn (you aren't allowed to see it until I've finished my project with it.) There's also some Cotton Chenille (for - yeah, you guessed it, reverse bloom washcloths from Weekend Knitting.) Cascade 220 and Cotton Chenille Here we have some gorgeous Wick sock yarn. This stuff is supposed to be good for sweaty feet. Hmm...maybe I'd better use that for my sister the runner. She used to stink up some running shoes pretty well. Dunno if the story is the same for everyday shoe wear, but it couldn't hurt, eh? The green is color #516, Chartreuse, and the purpley-rose color is #467, Columbine. It's by Knit One, Crochet Too. Wick Sock Yarn I will be back Wednesday. Hopefully I'll have time for a blog entry with all the details on the wedding and various birthday related activities. Note from Stephy: this was supposed to be up late last night. I suck. I'm sorry.

Hey - I think one of the colors of Cotton Chenille (if not both) is the same as I got when you were here! For the exact same project! Great minds...

That's some pretty thick sock yarn isn't it? Or is that just the close up?

And Stephy how could we be mad at our substitute blog mistress?? ;-)

Yarrrn!

I particularly like the basket of yarn. Very summery, looks almost like tomatoes and green vegetables picked up at a farmers market in Italy.
