N is for Nuptials

Seattle & Oregon Trip August 2006 128I coulda held out for "W" but why bother? My sister got married on the 12th to her love of 3 years. It was on Cannon Beach in Oregon. Gorgeous. Seattle & Oregon Trip August 2006 131 They also had a "sand ceremony" where they took sand from under each other's feet and placed it in a vessel. In this case, a puzzle box in the shape of a cat. My family is a cat family, and the men are no exception. They have 3 cats - a "yours, mine and ours" kinda set. It was a nice touch. Best of luck to my sister and her new husband.Seattle & Oregon Trip August 2006 135 May their future together be a happy one. Seattle & Oregon Trip August 2006 136 If the sunset on the night of their wedding is any indication, it will be.

How cool. Looks like a beautiful wedding!

I like outdoor weddings the best. For some reason, I think I never could have gotten married inside.

Congrats to them! And for a wonderful life together, many good wishes.
